Messi breaks the deadlock against Peter Cech, as he putted 2
back in the net for Barcelona. The fixture was held for UEFA champions league
round of 16’s first leg. It was 0-2 for the away side as the full time whistle
was blown.
It was indeed a great fixture as the involvement of the two
great teams. Both teams were up to the mark till the full time, but it was
Barcelona who overcomes the entire barrier to win the match. MSN now have 91
goals to their names in this season.
In the first half both of teams have maintained discipline
in their defense line. Arsenal did manage to come to close to the Barcelona
net, as Ozil created a beautiful for Aaron Ramsey, but didn’t managed to
convert it. At the end of the first half
Oxlade-Chamberlain also did get chance to score, but didn’t get managed to
convert it.
The away side did harden their grip over the possession. It
was Neymar who created for Leo Messi in the 71st minute of the game.
Arsenal defense didn’t manage to hold Messi and easily convert it. In 83rd
minute it was Flamini who was harshly tackled over Messi and gifted Barcelona a
penalty. Messi was at the spot to convert it and easily managed it.
It was Barcelona, who was emerged as winner at the Emirates
Stadium.
